WiFi-enabled defibrillators offer convenient transfer of event and patient data whilst also completing continuous self-monitoring. The Lifepak® CR2 is a semi-automatic defibrillator that replaces the CR Plus semi-automatic unit. As a semi-automatic defibrillator, it is designed to support first responders in administering potentially life-saving treatment during sudden cardiac arrest. First responders are prompted to activate the electric shock by a press of a button after the device advises it is safe to do so.
 
Ensuring ultimate usability, the device includes both pictorial and visual instructions that support the device operator during defibrillation. This also includes CPR coaching as well as a metronome sound to keep compressions in time.
